Saturday was very big day for us.. We left for Salt Lake City, Utah. Things had been spiraling down hill for the last several months and it had become unbearable. Something had to give. So I did. I packed as fast as I could and loaded a u-haul and looked back at Eugene, Oregon for what felt like the last time. I tried to soak up as much wet and green as I could because I knew where I was going it would not be the same. It was a hard day, I cried a lot. I felt guilty. We drove until we reached Ontario, Oregon and stayed the night in a Holiday Inn.. I didn't sleep much but the kids seem to be pretty excited...

Your pictures are so metaphorical. There you sit, in green grass, soaking it up before you leave. The next picture is black and white. Jess, you will find the color again, I promise you.
