Betty Crocker-itis

Its Saturday... I can't believe another Easter is upon us..
Yesterday the kiddos didn't have any school - Good Friday. We ran a few errands but spent most of the day at home.
I had good intentions of going to some of the local Easter egg hunts, but it just didn't work out this year. Last year, the "free" egg hunt at the local church was nothing short of chaos. People came out of nowhere like cockroaches and between the six of us, my children together found ONE egg. But we did enjoy watching the Veggie tales and the play that Matt's Kinder teacher was in, so it wasn't all a loss.
Andrew has a game today. I wish I could be there. The kids are all there watching. Justin has a project going in the backyard. He took an entire section out of our fence, and didn't want the house to be un attended while it is down, so here I am.
Ebay is going good. I am content with that, and should probably list some new auctions. I am just pacing myself.
I made cupcakes to take to my parents tomorrow for Easter dinner. I can't wait to frost and sprinkle them - its my favorite part. I am going to make some magic cookie bars in a bit to take as well. Definitely not my usual GO ALL OUT with the goodies but I am proud of myself for at least an attempt at normal-cy. I still have an apron on, so that should count for something.
I made Lasagna for dinner. Its Andrew's FAVORITE, and no one around here asks for it. I miss making it. Its all ready in the fridge to put in the oven. I feel somewhat accomplished today.
Its been a really hard last few weeks..

You sound like super woman. We did make chocolate chip cookies for Bug's class party though.
